Lucy T. aka Pampered Pit

Hi! I am Lucy. I am the latest addition to the household. I came from the nice people at the Henrico Humane Society. One of their volunteers, who also happens to be an Animal Control Officer, found me roaming around on the side of the road with a broken leg. They think I was hit by a car, but they did all kinds of things to try to help save my leg. I went to this really nice doctor who gave me a few surgeries, but my leg just didn't want to heal. I went to see the doctor one day and took a nap while I was there. When I woke up, my leg was all better. It took me a little while to get used to, but I can go a lot faster now without it. I still have the one with the heart shaped spot on it, so it is okay!

I was waiting very patiently for my new family to find me, and they did! In January 2006, they came and picked me up from the adoption stand and I have never looked back! I can outrun my brother Zeus anyday, and I don't even really try! It's really easy! People always stop my mom and dad and ask them a lot of questions about me. I just wag my tail really fast and lick them a lot! People think because I am a pitbull I may be mean. Hah!Hah! If you have ever met me, you know that I am the best girl on the planet.

I love my moms treats just as much as my big brother. How lucky am I? I found a really great family and they make dog treats & walk dogs all day long!
