RATES & SERVICES

Initial Consulation (Required before services can begin):

This is our chance to meet & greet our new customers and complete paperwork (which can be emailed, faxed or mailed beforehand for completion upon arrival), answer any questions, setup selected services and pickup a copy of your house key to keep on file in our office (all keys are coded for confidentiality). This usually takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes and is absolutely FREE of charge! Please note: We will only walk/visit dogs that are leash trained and non-aggressive to both their human and animal friends. Sorry, NO exceptions will be made to this rule.

Walking rates are based on 1/2 hr increments for two dogs:

1/2 hour walk/visit 1x per day---$15.00

1/2 hour walk/visit 2x per day---$28.00

1/2 hour walk/visit 3x per day---$40.00*

1/2 hour walk/visit 4x per day---$52.00*

Each additional dog over two---$2.00 per visit

Each additional 15 minutes/visit-$4.00

1 full hour walk/visit------------$23.00

All rates include a walk or companion time for your pets (whichever you prefer) either around your neighborhood or in your fenced in yard; providing them with fresh water, food and/or treats if you'd like; disposal of any potty time waste; bringing in your mail; basic check of your home for security and last but not least, tons of TLC and fun for your special furry friend(s)!!!

*Special discounts do apply to customers with extended visits scheduled such as vacations, longer business trips, etc. The discount will be based on the total number of days that our services are needed, so please inquire during your initial consultation.

**NOTE: For your pets safety, we will not provide walks during inclement weather, but will instead give them a quick potty break outside and continue our play indoors where it is safe and everyone's happy!**

Important Policies to Consider:

Service Contract: We must have a completed and up to date service contract on file before any services can be performed. If there are any changes to the information provided on this contract, please notify us immediately so that we can properly update your file in case of emergency.

Rabies Vaccinations: All clients agree to keep their pup's up to date on their rabies vaccinations at all times. We will request a copy of their most recent rabies vaccination certificate at our intial consultation should you choose to use our services. This will be kept on file with your service contract.

Service Hours and Holiday Visits: We offer our services daily from 7am until 10 pm. We cannot guarantee specific time requests, but will make every effort to accomodate your needs. We do observe the following holidays and charge an additional $4.00 per visit on these days: New Year's Eve & Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day. Please note: For an additional fee, we can accomodate requests outside of our normal business hours on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire about this to determine the exact charge.

Payment Options: We currently accept cash, checks, money orders and credit/debit cards within the Visa, Mastercard or Discover networks. Payment for services must be made before the start of said services. For new customers, we require payment in full for services setup at initial consultation. For regular customers, a payment should be left at the beginning of the week for any services that will be taking place within that week.

Last Minute Service Calls: We know that things happen sometimes that are out of your control and last minute requests are necessary, so we do offer these services at an additional charge of $10.00. This is a flat fee that is charged, but we MUST have a working set of your housekeys on file in order to provide you with this service. We cannot guarantee exact times will be available, but again will make every effort to accomodate your needs if at all possible!

Now for the not so good, but necessary disclosures:

Late fee: There will be a charge of $5.00 per walk/visit for payments that are not made prior to services being rendered.

Cancellations: Please review the following chart to determine your refund amount on cancelled services:

**7 or more days in advance--You will receive a FULL refund.

**2-6 days in advance--------You will receive a 75% refund, 25% will still be due.

**48 hours or less in advance-You will not receive a refund, 100% will still be due.

**All observed holidays-------You will not receive a refund, 100% will still be due.

**For regular customers (at least two visits per week, each week): You must give at least 24 hours notice of your cancellation. If this is given, you will receive credit for your missed walk/visit towards the next week's scheduled services. If less than 24 hours notice is given, then no credit will be given.

Return Check Charge: There will be a $20.00 return check charge on each returned check, plus any applicable bank charges that are imposed on us for the check being returned. If returned checks from any customer become habitual, we reserve the right to only accept cash or money orders for services rendered.

Karen's Canine Creations cannot be responsible for pets with unsupervised outdoor access or for your home/pets if others have access to them while we are contracted to perform any of our services. We do not share any of our clients personal information at any time with third parties. All information is kept confidential and is solely used by Karen's Canine Creations. House keys are also coded for confidentiality.
